Rob Northcutt

My name is Rob Northcutt. I live out in the rolling hills of central Kansas. I am a career firefighter and a singer/songwriter on my days off. There are two things in my life that I love. My family and Country music. I have a beautiful loving wife of twenty three years and two awesome children. When I'm not fighting fire and spending time with my family, I enjoy writing and playing music. Music has always been in my blood. It started in grade school and never stopped.

I started out singing in country music Oprey Houses around the state of Kansas, Missouri, and Oklahoma.
Those days offered me an opportunity to build my entertainment skills and relate with an audience. From there I started my first band called Northcutt. We played all around Kansas and Missouri and developed a big following. Some years later, and many more musicians, here I am today. I have put together a nice song portfolio and I am ready to introduce it to the world!

I have played hundreds of venues. Some great, others not so great. I have shared the stage with artists such as Confederate RR, Brian White, Craig Morgan, Lucas Nelson, Rodney Atkins, Darius Rucker, Josh Turner and many more. Those experiences have been awesome but there is nothing that I have enjoyed more than just sitting down with my guitar and writing my life stories to share with you.

Over the years of playing venues from honky tonks to the big stage, I have developed a sound that fits me. I consider my music to be rooted in country but with a rockin' edge to it. I enjoy singing a heartfelt ballad and then blowing the audience away with a rockin' country tune. Thats exactly what the listener will experience with my music.

Theres a song that I wrote called "Born To Play". I will release it soon. In the song I sing about how I will be singing to my wife when I am eighty years old. If I live that long, there is no doubt that it will be true!
