I have been a musician long enough to have played on both American Bandstand and The Merv Griffin Show. I’m one of the few who can say he appeared in a movie with both Jim Carey and Nicholas Cage (Peggy Sue Got Married). I’ve also had opportunity to jam with Bruce Springsteen.
Life is interesting. I once played drums on a Calvin Klein commercial where Brooke Shields said “when I move, I really move, and I don’t make a move, without my Calvin's”. Once for a music video, I was in a row boat and was towed into the ocean off the coast of England (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M5NWOCP4gIE ). I was dressed as a pirate. I thought I would be killed for sure, but alas Neptune spared me.
Throughout the years I’ve been blessed to have many cool musical experiences. I wrote the music for a play called Dog Run written by Lauren Crane, One of my songs The Night the Detroit Lions Won The Super Bowl appears on the Detroit Lions web portal.
After spending an extended period of time working in the straight world, I was “let go” from my job and have found myself returned to the world of music. I have been making records again and most recently perform on Dave Marsh’s program on Sirius with my brothers John and Marshall.
This is a young man’s game, so I don’t know how long I’ll last, but life has always dealt me an interesting hand, and I’m sure this will be no exception.

Robert
