Robert Taylor Jr

Robert Taylor Jr has seen a lot, has been exposed to a lot, and has been all over the place in the world of music and dance. In fact, he may be one of the most undiscovered-underrated-underground-unsigned talents in the America today. It's his knowledge and his blood-oriented saturation in the world of music and dance that helps him feel what there is to feel to portray to the people. From Marymount Manhattan College, to performing for Michael Jackson, to being an honorary member of The Amountboyz, to American Idol (season 3 in the last 87 contestants), to MTV's 'Say What? Karaoke' (as a 2 time winner), to 'The Ryan Leslie Project' as Ryan Leslie's alter ego, to an instructor at Broadway Dance Center, to Kat Deluna's 'Whine Up' music video as a dancer, to 'Hairspray' the tour as part of the ensemble, to a 7 time NYC music underground showcase winner as a pop/R & B entertainer, to rockin' out with 'The James Gang', to being with the cast of 'Broadway Underground' with Jared Grimes, to performing as a wedding singer with 'Starlight Orchestras', to being an MC with 'Richie Hart Entertainment', to 'So You Think You Can Dance (season 8) as 'The WoOoOo Man' making the top 16, ' he felt like it was time to start sharing with the world where he's been and more of what he does, who he is, and what he stands for (especially in regards to spreading love, peace, unity, inspiration, and positive energy to everyone through the love of music and dance as well as in general). Recently, as a dancer, he has performed with L.L. Cool J and as a singer/entertainer he has performed at the ‘Peace and Love’ Festival in Sweden (featuring artists like Rihanna, Billy Idol, Skrilex, etc). His Dad, Bobby T-Boy Taylor, has also been in the music industry has released a few singles that are still currently available on i-tunes and CD Baby. With this song, ‘Break It Down’, it is very inspired also by a 70’s/80’s/90’s feel with a twist/dedication to Barry White along with the influence of Barry’s song entitled ‘Look At Her’. ‘Break It Down’ is almost like a part II to ‘Get Down Tonight’ but with more of a minor current feel. We hope that you enjoy the sensations of Robert Taylor Jr’s ‘real good-feel good’ feeling. :o)
