Biography

Over the years I’ve bounced between England, Michigan and Seattle. I’m not always sure where I belong, but the one constant has been music. Whether in rock bands or acoustic groups, music has always tied it together. Since picking up a guitar as a teenager I’ve been on a life-long pursuit of melody.

The latest CD from that pursuit is ‘Ghost Stations’, my first solo album written in collaboration with my wife, Avril. Her lyrics of magic, murder and melting ice caps create a perfect mood for the album. The deserted train stations of East Berlin were the inspiration for the title and cover art.

I also played in the band Undercurrent. We put out the CD ‘Open Spaces’ in the late nineties and gigged around Seattle for about three years meeting a lot of interesting people along the way. This led to playing in a few acoustic groups after the band went kaput. From there I ended up producing Misty Weaver’s first solo album ‘Lost Saints for Long Roads’.
