I was raised in New York, left at 20 and wandered around Oklahoma, Texas, Hawaii, and have stayed in Colorado for 30 years. At 10 I played drums with a group of 12 prepubescent Italian girl acordion players...drummed for a medicine show...lots of Polish, Italian & Jewish wedding gigs, rockbands...in a trio with Richard Gere - we composed & played a rock version of "Midsummer's Night Dream" for the the Provincetown Playhouse...played guitar, recorded with Dallas trumpeter Dennis Gonzales, recorded & toured with crazed brilliant saxist Jack Wright (me on guitar), improv rock band with occasional guest Ron Miles on trumpet, gigs with Janet Feder (guitars), played all around colorado in a trad country group on drums, did a vaudville show with Dr. Gregory Walker on violin & me doing electronics... had solo guitar CD "Solo Subversion" featured in Guitar Player magazine, have 10 discs available on cdbaby from Turkish marches, all drum funk tunes, to bizzarro electronic mayhem. And some piano. Currently collaborating on various projects with long time Colorado musician, Mike O'Neill and doing occassional gigs on hand percussion. Some card tricks.
About 20 years ago I started repurposing and tinkering with electronic gizmotry in order to create new sound worlds on the order of the inimitable Morton Sobotnik; most of my albums on cdbaby are electro-acoustic (not all), but use no computers or synths per se. One last comment - I don't "put out" any music unless I think it is sufficiantly original, music for those desiring a bit of sonic adventure. I hope some of my efforts please you. Thanks. Ron.
