Biography

I am born in Washington DC and grew up singing in church choirs. As a child I listened to the music of Motown. The artist like Stevie Wonder, Marvin Gaye and the Jackson 5 were my hero’s. James Brown was and still is the King of soul music. The incredible grooves and melodies of Earth, Wind and Fire had me on a magic carpet ride until one of my older brothers introduced me into rock music. By the time I became a teen there was a group which took the world by storm called Mother’s Finest. My mind went crazy. I witnessed so many possibilities of how music could be played. I new at that time my vision or presentation of music would be difficult.

I took piano lessons between my 10th and 12th year of age but then had a hard time deciding if I should sing, dance or act. I bought a piano from my aunt when I was fifteen and without it I would have never made it out of my youth. It grounded me and helped me explore the amazing world of theatre.

I got my first professional theatrical show at the age of twenty and by the time I was twenty-five I was living in New York City meeting other great artist most of them the world will never meet but its all good.

I saw Europe for the first time when I was 27 doing the musical “Hair”. I was so impressed by the European culture I decided to stay. It’s a crazy fantastic world. I come to the USA to visit family and friends.

I always had a love for guitars. One day some two guys approached me and spoke about starting a rock group. I had the vision of Jimmy Hendrix in my head. COULD IT BE was born....
