It started with the music. As a young girl growing up in Olympia, Washington, I would dance and sing and I loved to entertain friends and family. At the age of eight I began studying the piano and over the years I also took up the guitar and drums as well.
By the time I was 10 , I had written my first song and since then I have immensely enjoyed expressing myself through music. I've always gotten involved however and whenever I could- writing music for school plays, arranging songs for weddings, etc.
To say my musical influences are eclectic would be an understatement. I love all types of music, but look to Beethoven, the Andrew Sisters, Elton John, Frank Sinatra, Buddy Guy and Kraftwerk, Tears for Fears – a mixture of blues, classical, pop and electronic – for my inspiration.
I feel that we have been blessed with music to entertain, but also to inspire and encourage lives. I want others to be excited and happy about life. I want people to know that life is a gift and should NOT be wasted!
With my music I hope that comes through and that it also touches people in need – both emotionally as well as spiritually.
While I sing and compose, I am also a part-time professional model and I have strutted the catwalk at a variety of fashion shows.
While my home base is in Olympia, the capital of Washington state, I spend quite a bit of time in Seattle and Los Angeles (CURRENTLY LIVING IN MAUI) and enjoy life and the people I have met and work with in all places.
That is a little about me, but I have so much more to share. I hope you enjoy my website and look forward to sharing more about me and my music in the future….
