Rosetta Clark

I was born in Casa Grande, Arizona to two beautiful parents, Lawrence (Bishop) Clark and Alma O Dell Clark. I was raised in a very loving Christian home with nine other brothers and sisters. My father was a dedicated pastor, loving husband and father until he was called to glory recently in January 2010 . My mother went to glory years ago. From a very early age I have always loved to sing. I come from a long line of singers, from my father, mother, aunts and uncles. Growing up in the church, I sang in my family choir, church other events. I have always had a song in my heart and my father called me his “little song bird”. In 1999 my life turned around as I decided to follow Christ and allow him to lead me, and this is where he led. Thank you Jesus for the honor, privilege and opportunity to serve you and others through the gift of music you have given to me. I love all types of music and have been inspired by Artists such as Mahalia Jackson, Jennifer Knapp AKA” The knapster” , Crystal Lewis, Micheal W. Smith, Jesus Culture, Kirk Franklin, Trinitee and countless others. As far as the album "Sweet" goes, all of the songs were mostly spontaneous recordings that came straight out of the heavenly realm with an extraordinary story behind them. The title song "Sweet" was recorded after being in the presence of the Holy Spirit during a church service and I felt that urge to sing....and i sang, thus the birth of "Sweet". The song entitled “Broken Jar” was written out of adoration for my sister Carrie whose great faith in God brought me to tears as I thought of the story of the woman who had health issues that touched the hem of Jesus’ garment and she was made whole. I can only imagine what she must have gone through just to get near Him. The song “Battlefield” was written after my sister Brenda and I had a conversation about being soldiers for Christ and she had also written a similar song that same day unbeknown to me at the time. I would like to personally thank Russell for making "Glory" and many other of these songs perfect. The song " so in love" was caught on tape as another spontaneous song from the lords treasure box. Thank you to all of my family and friends who support me and thank YOU for stopping by my page. May God bless, keep and prosper you all and may goodness and mercy follow you all the days of your life.
