Roy MC Calvey

Roy Mc Calvey played bass in Avalon, the pre-Prefab Sprout band of the 1970's. Tony Coyle, Leo McCabe, John the drummer and Paddy McAloon were in the band with him. His song AVALON (OUR SONG) is available on CD Baby and Spotify, etc. Roy takes his new and sometimes old songs and, adding video from his hd camcorder, puts them on You Tube. Other topics for Roys work include 'St James Park Roar' (a song named after the sound the crowd makes at Newcastle United FC's home football matches) and 'Graffiti Street' (a road near The Biscuit Factory Art Gallery, Newcastle upon Tyne, where artists legally use the walls to do their graffiti). Both 'Graffiti St' films have Roys original music set to them, 'Emergency' from Avalon days is on 'Graffiti St 1' On average a new film/music piece goes up on You Tube every 2 months.
