Throw in a synthesizer, bass, some cut and paste samples, unbelievably powerful drums and you have the raw elements of Stereo Assassin. Taking Queues from a dizzying array of artists and coming out with a style that will make you move from start to finish of every song. Think of Beastie Boys & Nine Inch Nails vs. Grandmaster Flash & The Prodigy. Spearheaded by The Mighty Caputo who plays most of the instruments himself, plus a loose knit group of other musicians recruited for specific needs from the New York City & Long Island area join together to make Stereo assassin a combination of bravado, aggression, taste & true talent. The debut full length Cd “Breakbeats, Beatdowns & Breakups” is due out on The Mighty Caputo’s own label Born Wrong Records this summer (2010).
