BIOGRAPHY
STEVE PETERS lives in Washington State, three hours from Seattle Washington. He grew up in the small town of Hermiston Oregon with a population of 15,000 people. His first experience at singing was at age five in a restaurant banquet room of thirty people, in which he stood on a chair with a microphone and performed a song he had written. Since that experience he has written lyrics, music, and has performed at various places, festivals, weddings, concerts, shows, ect. Steve Peters has written over 500 songs and has recorded four albums to date, including the current album " #1 FAN". Steve Peters released his first album in 1991 “Black and White”, which was released on local radio stations. Local newspapers and venues promoted him, as well as the Eastern Oregon County Fair. In 2006 Steve Peters connected to Brook Floyd of RainMaker Studio’s and produced the album “Broken”, which gave him recognition internationally. The song “The Way” had massive radio play overseas and gained popularity placing it on several top 20 Electro/Euro Pop charts. Steve Peters had a few radio interviews, one of which was Pride Radio in Denmark which has around one million listeners (Thank you Martin!). Since the release of “Broken” Steve has had a release party at STARBUCKS in Kennewick WA, performed with Goodnight Argent at Kimo’s Sports Bar and Lounge, the Local Indie Venue “The Red Room” (The Hottest and Biggest Eastern Washington Indie Venue), the RIver of Fire 4th of July Celebration in Columbia Park which draws close to 30,000 people every year among other venues such as lounges, dance clubs ect. In 2008 Steve started work on his next album and by March of 2009 had released his third album “Let It Go”. CURRENTLY: Steve Peters has released the album "#1 FAN" worldwide and is excited to share his new music and heart with his friends and fans. Steve Peters hopes to continue to share his music with the world, be involved with local community projects and global projects as well as cancer research and support. Steve believes that his music is a way of sharing his experiences, his thoughts, and hope, enabling him to help people in those areas of interest that need support and love. He believes everyone is born with a purpose and that we are all unique, talented and creative in our own way, and needed by someone.
