SUENOS from Sacramento, California was formed in 1979 under the guidance of bandleader & songwriter Frank Lizarraga to record and perform Chicano and Latin music. Two songs "BABY, I LOVE YOU" and "OH, LITTLE GIRL" ft Jamie Zuniga on lead vocals have become their signature classic oldie songs ~
In 1985 their 12" single "I’M SO CRAZY FOR YOU" was well received on both the West & East coasts and in Europe. They also recorded two albums in Spanish; their cumbia "LA CITA" and ranchera "SOY COMPESINO" received national airplay on Spanish radio stations ~
In 2006 Lovetaxi Productions, released "HOLLYWOOD GIRL and more Chicano Soul" CD-411 featuring eleven songs including; "Baby, I Love You" and "Oh, Little Girl" & "Hollywood Girl" and several songs never released before like "Definition of Love" ~
In 2009 year, nine original Suenos band members reunited to record and release "The REUNION" CD-777, featuring seven original never released songs to celebrate their 30th year anniversary in the music business. Featured songs include "LA LAtin LAdy" "Promise of Love" & "Save yo' Drama 4 yo' Mama" ~
This 2010 year they released "ETRELLAS Vol 1 & 2"double CD of original recordings released in 1979 -1989, featuring all the songs from their studio projects and session work with other Latino singers and artist’s recorded in Spanish. Featuring "LA CITA" " Senorita Amor" and "Si Es Puro Amor".
