BIOGRAPHY
Samuel Dumesle was born in Haiti and raised in East Orange, New Jersey. From a young age he had a passion and skill for music. Before coming to Raleigh, North Carolina to attend Saint Augustine’s College, Sam was a member of many groups and choirs in Northern New Jersey. Prior to starting Dedication, Sam acted as director and musician for various choirs and praise teams in the triangle area of North Carolina. Currently, Sam is the praise and worship leader at Church on the Rock in Raleigh, North Carolina. He is also a musician/director for First Baptist Church, Gethsemane Seventh-day Adventist Church and Immanuel Temple Seventh-day Adventist Church.
Sam formed Dedication in May 2007. For many years Sam had a song in his heart. He knew that the Lord had called him to minister and share his testimony through song. Dedication consists of various singers from different denominations and backgrounds, but all serving one God with all their heart. In November 2008 Sam Dumesle and Dedication has been nominated for 3 Rhythm of Gospel Awards (Group, Producer, and Song) and in 2009 received a nomination for the Prestige Award from the North Carolina Gospel Announcers Guild for Group/Duo of the Year. With regained strength and a new testimony Sam Dumesle anticipates his new opportunities to minister 2011 beginning with the release of his new single, “4 You” (For You). A testament that all he does, and all he is, is for God, His lord and savior his all and all.
