Samuele Nubile

Samuele Nubile was born in Moncalieri, Italy, on February the 23rd, 1977, in the sign of Pisces. He was living in Turin with his parents and his older sister and it is right in this city that his story begins: Inheriting the passion for music from his father, ex guitarist, and from his granfather, ex claranetist he began to study his first instrument at the age of 6: the organ. With the passing of years rhythm flows fast in his veins, he decides that the time has come to start learning percussion, especially the drum set. At the age of ten he attends classes of one of the best drummers in town, and at the same time begins a decades of his life in which he will have the chance to play with several bands from his city, some of which are still around. On June, 5th 1994 he won first prize at the competition for young talented "A bocca asciutta" with the song "Jacket n' Tie Blues", one of his first compositions on the piano. Still in these years his horizons broaden, the sounds develop, and his study of music makes room also for other instruments. So he starts to take classes for rhythm, electric, and country/jazz guitar, piano, electric bass and harmonic. At the age of 19 he graduates in management and accounting and in the meantime, he books himself at the Italian Society of Authors and Editors (S.I.A.E.), in the role of melodic composer, and thus he starts to compose some of his most important songs such as "Stella Anaj", "Non saprei dirlo diversamente", "Diario di viaggio" and many others. He records together with the Anger's fits as bassist and Keyboardist 2 rock/progressive songs that will be contained on the cd "Sliced Orange - to juicy rock compilation" produced by Bax records in 1998 and together with the Break point as bassist, a ballad that will be contained on the cd "Made for japan" produced by Dumbo records in 1996. During spring 2001 he moved abroad to Prague, Czech Republic, where he is now living and making new music. In the middle of 2007 he met in Prague the American singer Don Kendrick and the two formed a new band which they called "Confusing Thursdays", an acoustic duo that covers rock music of today and yesterday. Samuele was playing in the biggest Prague clubs such as Duplex, Mecca, Techtle Mechtle, Infinity and many others. In his home music studio he records new songs of himself contained on the cd "Tomorrow is a fine day" all composed with piano and available on line to purchase. He also wrote words and music for the porn movie soundtrack called "Cool Babe" with the song "The Way You Are". In April 2012 he released his new solo CD called "Where the music matters" which contains 11 new tracks with many fingerpicking songs on the acoustic guitar.
