*Music came into my life suddenly in 2008.*
In November 2007 we had a very bad car accident with a hit and run, after which my hearing became very sensitive.
*Three months later, my mother was dying and her last week I sat by her with my one singing bowl, and chanted sacred chants to sing her to sleep. I sang more that week than in my whole former life.
*Two weeks later I felt strongly drawn to buy a very large singing bowl. I blessed it and sat down to chant with it and suddenly a song came to me and I had to run around to find a paper and pen to write it down, as nothing like this had ever happened to me before. It was a very odd song, sort of a chanted spiritual statement with content that was strange to me, and I am only starting to understand it two years later.

*After that more and more songs came. I also studied music and hve begun some intrumental arranging and and performing, integratingthe magic og singing bowls into western music. Overall, I seem to be part of an emerging genre which a friend dubbed "Shamanic Fusion", with elements of chant, song, poetry, traditional, mostly- percussion instruments, and technotrance.

* I have no idea where this is all going if anywhere, but I am very excited about it and happy to be alive, and spending the life( that I almost lost in 2007 when we flipped end over end 3 times on the freeway) as a newly reborn musician.
