Sarah Ndagire born and raised in Uganda, the pearl of Africa is one of the best known and most dedicated singers in Uganda today. She sees it as her duty to preserve and promote the culture of her homeland. Numerous airplays, TV appearances, CD recordings and an impressive live career make her one of the most active and sought after artist from Uganda. In collaboration with musicians from around the world, she combines the Ugandan folk music styles with different musical styles has been an interesting contemporary world sound.

She brings out the true soul of an African, the Joy, Sorrow, pain, determination intelligence and perseverance. Sarah accompanied by the German-African band Argile continues to build musical bridges in the cultural field of tension between Africa, the Orient and Europe.
Sarah Ndagire and Argile (Germany) have toured together in the summer of 2010 performing and running workshops in different venues, festivals and schools such as Kasumama in Austria, Freudenstadt Africa festival, Forchheim Africa festival in Germany and London Africa festival at southbank, England.
