Sarah Swain

Biography

Sarah Swain quit playing the flute in the marching band and picked up a guitar at the age of 15 and started writing music almost immediately. Over the past 15 years she has traveled all over the US and UK playing her original music. Sarah has been a member of Boston area bands The Sallies, Professor Gascan, Vein and The Spike Emerson Society. Was in a band in LA that she will never admit to. ever.

In 2007 Sarah put out her first solo cd "One Girl Town" which was recorded at Wooly Mammoth Studios with David Minehan and has recieved great reviews and radio play. She is currently working on her second solo album due out spring of 2010.

Sarah lives on dreamy cape cod with dreamy steel sculptor husband and two dreamy daughters (ages 2 and 4 ) and plays in an acoustic duo with guitarist Jerry Smith. Sarah also plays in two cape cod bands; bass with The Greenheads and sings and plays guitar with rockabilly band Randy and The Oak Trees.

Sarah loves her family, her chickens, dancing and cape cod. Sarah hates over-packaged goods, bell peppers and writing about herself in the third person.
