Gator Bait Records and Film
Goes Back to School
RI based record label, Gator Bait Records and Film LLC and local, RI school teacher, Scott Jablonski, have partnered to release an educational CD called,
“Standouts in American History”
“Standouts in American History” celebrates the lives, accomplishments and moral standards of great, historic Americans delivered through the art of music. This CD proves that learning, when presented in an artistic way, can be loads of fun and memorable for the student.
When Scott is not teaching, he's carefully preparing his next lesson. As with any good teacher, Scott draws from his experiences when designing his next lesson plan and tries to reach the students in a creative way. Best known by his students as Mr. J, Scott will take out his guitar in class and perform songs he wrote about the topic the students are studying.
Eureka! History lessons made fun - - - what a great idea! Scott wanted to share this style of teaching with other educators and students. He settled into a recording studio and recorded an amazing tool for teaching American History geared towards elementary students, grades 2-5.
Signing with Gator Bait Records and Film is a huge step in the right direction for Scott. Gator Bait Records and Film is garnering all kinds of attention in the media and music industry with several artists climbing the club and radio charts with new sensational hits. When asked why Gator Bait Records veered from its comfort zone of Dance and Pop music to release an educational CD, record label President, Jo Jo Gator responded, "This is a great CD! I grew up watching Schoolhouse Rock on television. The catchy, ‘Conjunction Junction’ song helped me get through English class!" According to Gator and Jablonski, this is the new Schoolhouse Rock era. Gator touted, “This is a great tool for kids and educators. I back it 100%.”
This CD is due to be released in the Spring of 2012 and will be sold on ITunes, Amazon and wherever great music is sold.
