Scott has been a recording artist for 18 years & a full-time Worship Pastor for 12 years. Currently on staff as Worship Pastor at Crosspoint Church, St. Louis, MO. (www.thecrosspoint.com). Scott has sung with Christian gospel groups, “Faith First” (www.faithfirst.net) & “The Heritage Singers” (www.heritagesingers.com).
He has written songs published by INO/Integrity Music, WorshipTogether/EMI, Maranatha! Music, Better Than New Music, Dwell Ministries and written songs recorded by Phillips, Craig & Dean, Faith First, The Heritage Singers, Raylene Scarrott, & various other independent artists.
All three of his albums (In Awe of You, The Life I Live, & Revelation | Response) & multiple songs have been featured in Worship Leader Magazine & on Song DISCovery CD’s (The latest featured song, “Welcome In This Place” was recognized by Worship Leader Magazine as the “Independent Worship Song of the Year” in 2007).
He traveled with Maranatha! Praise Band for “Promise Keepers” summer tour (www.promisekeepers.org). Scott has been a worship leader for Rick Warren’s ‘Saddleback Church’ “Worship Center”, Friday night “Country”, “Passion” & “Singles” Venues, and has had the honor of opening for artists such as “Phillips, Craig & Dean”, “Sandi Patti” & “Michael English”.
