The kid-friendly rock stylings of ScribbleMonster have oftentimes been aptly described as "Sesame Street on steroids." With five spouses and 15 children of their own ranging in age from 4 to 26, ScribbleMonster knows a thing or two about keeping families entertained. ScribbleMonster is comprised of five veteran Chicago-area performers with well over 100 years of creating, teaching and performing music, comedy and theater.
Benefiting from their collective experience, ScribbleMonster's live shows are a blending of traditional children's music, improvisational comedy and power-pop that create a fun, interactive rock show for the whole family. ScribbleMonster can be heard nationally on children's radio and has been dubbed "the edgiest kids' band on the scene today." Their "draw outside the lines" approach to music for the family has acclaimed by the likes of National Public Radio and Parenting Magazine and the band can be found performing at all kinds of venues, ranging from libraries to Lollapalooza.
