Seleen McAlister

It’s a GOOD TIME for country music when Powerhouse performer Seleen McAlister steps up on stage!

With a whirlwind year up her sleeve and her sights firmly set on a successful 2015, Seleen delivered her Debut Album “Truth About Us” produced by Simon Johnson. A Glimpse into Seleen’s life and experiences and Seleen admits “you will get to know a little more about this sometimes confused mum, who has 3 crazy kiddies, a loving husband, a hectic life and a mother in heaven“.

She is joined by the likes of Chris Rodriguez (guitarist to Kelly Clarkson, Faith Hill and formerly, Keith Urban), with songs written from her heart about love, life and family and tracks co-written with Aria and Golden Guitar winner Mike Carr and Golden Guitar winner Drew McAlister, this debut album is a snapshot of Seleen’s heart, the people in it and the love she gives from it!!!!

The first single, I Wanna Live Like That, was released to stunning reviews and is featuring on Country Music playlists across Australia
Seleen first caught the eye of country music’s elite with her entry to the 2011 Maton Talent Search at the Gympie Muster. Her astounding voice and captivating songwriting lead to her taking away the top spot.

For the past 3 years Seleen has been establishing her career solidly touring around Australia with acts like Bill Chambers, Simply Bushed, Amber Lawrence, Mark Seymour, Peter Denahy, Doug Bruce and the Tailgaters, McAlister Kemp and legendary Aussie Icon Ian Moss

Seleen was also a double nominee at the 2014 Southern Star Awards with nominations for best female vocalist and best independent album of the year.
Seleen was presented with the ICMA in Tamworth for best female Vocalist 2015 and has also performed at CMC Rocks QLD 2015.

Seleen headed back into the studio with Simon Johnson at Hillbilly Hut to record brand new music. Her new single is due for release at Broadbeach Country Music Festival on the 20th June.

With tours and major festivals including Sydney Country Music Festival, 2015 looks to be Seleen’s brightest year yet.
