Seth Asa was born shortly after midnight and hasn't slept correctly since. He grew up in a rural part of Southern Maine where he had plenty of time to enhance the quiet of the forestry with electric guitar music, echoing through the hills and dales.
After years of loud rock and roll during the grunge and post-grunge movements, Seth began to pursue quieter acoustic formats more conducive to a marriage of music and poetry. Later on he began experimenting with delay effects to enhance the ambience of the dry acoustic sound.
Seth's new album, "Dream:33" is an exploration of hopes, dreams, and realities, sung in three acts with a transitional piece to preface each act. The song styles on the album range from dark and forceful to light and fanciful, traveling the listener from regret to revolution to renewal. CD running time is 33:33.
