Chris White is a contemporary film composer and recording artist. Based in London, he has composed the scores for feature films, television series, animations and documentaries. His entry onto the UK film scene came in 2007 after graduating with commendation as the Olswang scholar from the UK National Film and Television School with a Masters in Composition for Film and Television. Since graduation, his reputation has been strengthened by the success of many of the films he has composed scores for. Films such as La Planète Encore, a film by French legend Moebius; Irish feature One Hundred Mornings, winner of an Irish Film and Television Award and a New York Times critics’ pick; À Mi-chemin featuring actor Laurent Lucas; and short film Les Conquérants, in competition at Sundance 2012 and shortlisted for a 2013 CÉSAR best animation award. Recently Chris composed the score for his 4th feature film Nancy, Please, a black comedy that explores obsession, self-righteousness, and the perverse allure of victimhood in New Haven, Connecticut.

Shadyzane represents his creative output from a world separate from film.
