Shane Clouse Biography
Shane Clouse, a native of Missoula, MT began his performing career singing his heart out to his parents and seven siblings on the fireplace hearth of the family’s farm house. Soon after, Shane began his performing arts career studying singing, dancing, acting, and learning to play several instruments. Shane won his first singing competition at the age of five. As a solo artist and with his band Stomping Ground, Shane continues to tour sharing his music around the world. Shane is passionate about his Community. He serves on the Chamber of Commerce Agri-business committee, the Clark Fork River Farmer’s Market board, and the Missoula Community Foundation board. Shane’s love of the outdoors and conservation has led him to become a member of the Federation for North American Wild Sheep, the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation, and the Montana Wildlife Federation. In his free time Shane enjoys hiking with his wife Kelly, training his horses, playing hockey with the Glacier Hockey League, and he is a member of the Missoula All Maggots Rugby Club. Shane is the Official Troubadour of the “Montana Matters” campaign to benefit the International Wildlife Film Festival and the Montana Wildlife Federation.
Shane has opened for Dierks Bentley, Sawyer Brown, Phil Vasser, Joe Nichols, Ike Reilly, Tom Russell, Josh Gracin, Kostas, Don Williams, Mickey and the Motorcars. As a singer/songwriter Shane is proud to collaborate with Kostas, Mike Allan Ward, and many others..
