Shelion Hinds was born in Kingston Jamaica, West Indies. Her music ministry began at the age of 13. She is often referred to as an "Anointed" vessel. Everywhere she went; she left her mark of inspiration, meekness and beauty on the hearts of those who have had the privilege to hear her sing and meet her in person.
In March of 1998 she performed in the Gospel Talent Showcase at the Public Playhouse in Bladensburg, MD. The showcase was sponsored by: The Coalition for the Homeless, hosted by: C&R Productions. She won second place prize, however, Shelion didn't stop there. She continued to perform at conventions, concerts, banquets and anniversary programs nationwide. Her melodious voice brought tears to the eyes of church members at one powerful Revival Service in November of the same year at Shiloh Church of God 7th – Hyattsville, MD.
In May of 1999 she sang at the Annual Joint Church of God (JCGF) Convention held in Toronto, Canada. Her photo appeared on the front cover of their annual Newsletter Magazine. She was a guest performer at a Gospel Showcase in Miami, FL hosted by: Papa San, who she met in April of 2005. A few years later, in March of 2007 she met and opened for Stitchie, the International Reggae Gospel Artist at an Appreciation Banquet in Arlington, NJ.
Her first solo CD Project "In Spite of the Odds" was released in January 2005 and her second release "Chapters of Life" was completed June of 2007.
