Shelly Bhushan

Biography

Shelly Bhushan's new 5 song EP called, “Make Believe”, is a provocative, modern take on the soulful sound she’s been cultivating over the past several years.

It's a new sound, a departure from her previous album "Picking Daisies", but fans will take heart in consistencies that feel like Bhushan – a heavy groove factor, kick ass vocals and her signature, heartfelt lyrics.

New to this record is the production, especially the mix of different keyboards - notably mellotron, juno, and nanobass - and the unique soundscapes that surround the rhythm section. The combination is unique for soulful music. All 5 tracks were co-written by Shelly and her bandmates (John Celentano, Harry Cordew and Ben Hoffstein).
