ECMA Nominees for Blues Recording for 'When The Money's All
Gone', Shirley Jackson & Her Good Rockin’ Daddys have been
fueling the dance floor with a mix of horn-powered east coast blues.
The Good Rockin’ Daddys hail to a sound inspired by the early years
of Rock & Roll when horn sections were an integral part of the sound
of a swingin' and rockin’ good time.
The Calgary International Blues Festival and a summer tour laid the
ground work for their new release, ‘When The Money’s All Gone’
which includes seven originals by Jackson, ranging from bluesy
ballads, soulful horns and raunchy guitar features and has just been
nominated for an ECMA 2013 for Blues Recording.
