Silver Cities

Silver Cities (formerly Seasons) is a dance-pop/rock band from Sydney, Australia, guaranteed to get you on your feet from their very first song. With a cutting edge ‘club’ inspired sound, Silver Cities has been described as a fusion of Paramore, The Killers & Calvin Harris.

Silver Cities came about in a very organic way when the band Seasons (Peter Wright, Sam Young & Hayley Jensen) began songwriting for their new album. Perhaps due to evolving personal taste in music, all the songs they were writing sounded more like dance-pop/rock tracks than the alternative-rock sound they’d been known for. After months of writing and deliberating, the band decided to start fresh with a new sound, new name, new show & evolving line up...

Prior to joining Silver Cities, vocalist Hayley shot to fame after placing 4th in the second season of Australian Idol and pursued a solo career where she formed a record label, released an album, performed for Coalition Forces in the Middle East, for the Prime Minister of Australia & President of Indonesia, and at all major entertainment centres around the country.

Silver Cities (Seasons) have performed at some of the biggest festivals in the country including: Forest Edge, Easterfest (20,000), Big Exo Day (10,000), Blackstump, and Parachute in NZ (24,000), as well as performing at a number of schools & youth groups. In 2011, the band became recognised as a World Vision Artist. Sharing the same passion, they hope to educate and challenge others in the areas of social welfare and justice, encouraging people to be part of the solution.

Silver Cities début album due for release in March 2013 is jam packed full of super catchy tracks that will get stuck in your head and leave you with no choice but to dance! Produced by one of the country’s top Pop producers, Lindsay Rimes (Timomatic, Joel & Benji Madden, Reece Mastin, Stan Walker) and mastered by Leon Zervos at Studio 301 (Rihanna, Maroon 5, P!nk).
