BIOGRAPHY
Simon Reece was born in England but has lived on 4 different continents (Europe, Africa, South America and Asia), having lived in Zimbabwe as a child, followed the love of his life, Carla, to Argentina where they lived before moving to India where they first met and now live.
Although Simon was trained classically as a singer from a young age, he is self-taught for nearly all of the many instruments he plays. His main ones are Spanish guitar, Armenian duduk, Indian sitar, Celtic harp, South American charango, Persian and Indian santoor.
As a composer Simon has developed a unique style, working with acoustic instruments from different parts of the world. He blends the different acoustic and cultural textures to create new forms of beauty, a new sacred music, awakening the stillness and joy of the heart.
