Nathaniel Plenty Jr. aka Sincere the Rock Boy (SRB) was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois the youngest of three children. He was born in Leclair Courts Public Housing Development and raised in the Englewood community of Chicago. These urbanized crime infested areas tested, molded and entertained SRB with several life threatening situations that made him the individual he has become.
At the age of 15 SRB embraced a life of crime and destruction. That lifestyle included gang banging, stickups, purse snatchings, grand theft auto and fighting. Graced only to get caught for minor infractions, SRB would spend only a day or two in jail, yet this short time gave him plenty to reflect on.
Having his taste of incarceration was enough motivation to explore a college education. It was while in college that SRB befriended a crew of rappers and learned of his ability to express himself through the art form of hip hop.
It was November of 1999 when SRB had a near death experience that permitted him counsel with THE MOST HIGH GOD/Jesus Christ. It was this moment in time that changed his direction and gave him a new purpose.
Since then SRB has spoken and performed at youth conferences, prisons, churches, seminars and cell groups. He has shared the stage with artist such Da Truth, Cross Movement & Chris Searcy to name a few.
His dynamic testimonial style and in depth understanding of the personal barriers that keep individuals from becoming successful has shown to be a great tool in public speaking and song writing.
Currently, SRB is the CEO and a Hip Hop Recording Artist of Q7 Records, Minister of Word Made Flesh Ministries, Motivational Orator and is employed by the State of Illinois as a Juvenile Justice Specialist in Joliet, IL.
