BIOGRAPHY
Charlotte has a wealth of experience when it comes to playing and performing in bands as a drummer. She began her career working in a Blues Brothers function band to gain the experience and knowledge necessary to be a full time gigging musician, playing shows throughout the UK for a number of years. At this time she was also part of the cult grunge garage band Naked Ruby, gigging to packed out venues in the UK. Following on from this, she played for Firemouth a popular French melodic rock band. As the band had a large following in France and Belgium they toured extensively throughout these countries. This also led to recording a follow up to the successful 1st album ‘Suitable for Vegetarians’. Taking her love of heavy rock back to the UK, Charlotte kept progressing as she played for ‘Schist’ and recorded drums for ‘Drown your Own’ two underground metal projects which developed her skills and techniques of drum-kit playing to a high level. While alongside, she was the drummer with successful pop project Vizion City, a band whose reputation as one of the hottest live acts on the dance circuit rocketed throughout the London scene. She continued to build her repertoire as a rock and blues drummer as she began running two Blues jam sessions in London. As a result of this she worked on a number of recording sessions for different projects. This led to Charlotte building up her own recording set up at home and with her home studio. She has just completed her first solo album Seven Wanders. She is currently gigging as a singer songwriter with this new material, is playing guitar pan with Nostalgia Steel Band and teaches drum-kit to young adults at WAC performing arts college in north London.
