Stan Erhart is a blues-rock hybrid in the style of John Hiatt and Warren Zevon. With a weary, gravelly voice, Stan delivers an American style that reflects his youth on a Kansas farm; where the exhaust note of a John Deere tractor kept time to the twang of country music. The Chicago club circuit was yet to come, and San Francisco later still.
