Recorded and mixed at Dr.Caw Studio in Glenview, IL by Craig Williams 1980-81.
This was produced by Mimi Betinis of Pezband fame who also played Guitar, Bass, Piano and picked "Door Bell" along with assorted Percussion. Sam Hubbel played an alternate guitar part and Carlo Iaccino played his perfect drums. Stan Skora played guitar and sang lead along with Mimi's chorus vocals.
This was a quick, fun session that kicked off his post-"The Kind" career. Initially well received and loved by the press, sales went well in the Collage market of South Western US.
The pressing was originally released on din-key Records from Chicago, mastered by Ed Stryzek (RCA-Chicago) at his Oak Lawn Suite, plated and pressed by Larry Sherman at Musical Products (in the old Harmony Guitar building on 26th). PR was handled by the luminous Cary Baker who went on to vanguard the IRS Records PR department.
This was the lead-off track of a 4-song project though only 3 songs were included in the pressing.
Archiving and future release will hopefully include the entire collection!
