This recording represents a new direction in our music. We tried several new approaches to create a different musical experience: we condensed the band to three musicians and we tried to record outside the studio. Most of the compositions were written especially for this band: I, Stefan Gaspar on guitar or tenor saxophone, Andy Hall on acoustic bass and Joey Gulizia on drums and percussion. Recording with only three musicians gives the music the space and an interaction and closeness between the musicians that is hard to achieve with bigger groups.
