On February 13, 1990 Steffen was born. He had a powerful voice, which meant that he immediately got the name Pavarotti.
Country music was played dayly in the home where Steffen grew up, but his interest for music was really ignited when he was 12 years old and got to try a guitar for the first time.
Thanks to his teacher Svein Eriksen as on every occasion brought out the guitar at school. The first song that was taught was Tom Dooley. Since then he did a little Elvis Presley. He heard songs that Elvis sang, Country music, and then it was done. The familys old casette player was brushed off, and combed for good songs and melodies. Steffens favorite artists that inspired him most was Merle Haggard, Johnny Cash, Waylon Jennings, George Jones, etc. ... In addition, a lot of the old country music genre.
He practiced for hours on acoustic guitar and later purchased the new American Fender Telecaster. Steffen was not afraid to act. When the parents were not good enough a crowd, then he took his guitar and sat down beside the road and played and sang so the whole neighborhood could hear. After a while he started to get some real gigs. His first job was on the bases in their hometown of Skiftenes in Grimstad.
After this, many music projects in their community and elsewhere. In the 6 years since the Steffen slowly started with Country music, he has managed to do lots of appearances on both large and small stages. Most importantly, he played at Breim Country Festival in the summer of 2007, and had an appearance as a guest artist with Aslak Gjennestad and Ove Støylen for a full house in Arendal Cultural Centre. In 2007, he also helped organize the church and the Christmas concert for an over filled Grimstad church.(1100 audiences).
In 2006, Steffen opportunity and make an EP with 4 favorite songs that were made in ClutterBillies studio Tromøy Arendal. It was well received and played at many Country Radios around the country. Now all his spare time is spent doing music and at school he is often referred to as Johnny Cash, among those who know him, but he makes sure to make time for some fishing which is also a great p.Til Finally, I would just say:
STAY SOBER AND KEEP IT GOOD OLD COUNTRY
Greetings from Mother.
