Stephanie Sivers possesses qualities as a vocalist and performer that captivate audiences.
Her voice is in a class of it’s own. Stephanie’s clear, pure, yet at times richly colored voice and nearly four-octave range yields a unique sound when singing either jazz standards, classical or contemporary music.
Stephanie’s passionate interpretation of jazz standards and classical music are accomplished through beautiful tones, superb phrasing and dramatic stage presence. This combination allows the listener to be fully engaged and emotionally moved. The lighter sides to Stephanie’s personality shine through during performances of up-tempo music, in turn leaving audiences charmed.
Stephanie has been trained by some of the finest musicians from the Julliard School, Manhattan School of Music, The Metropolitan Opera, San Francisco Opera, UC Santa Barbara and USC. She has performed with opera companies in California, at the Aspen Music Festival, venues in Italy as well as venues throughout Santa Barbara.
Stephanie has been the recipient of several awards including the Santa Barbara Foundation Peabody Music Grant, the Performing Arts Scholarship Foundation Competition, and The Léni Fé Bland Competition Grant as well as other notable scholarships from the Aspen Music Festival and from her university, C.S.U.C., during undergraduate studies.
Stephanie released her first album titled “Sultry Standards” in 2006 where it was charted in the top 10 on several radio stations throughout the US and Canada. Stephanie will soon be releasing singles off her new albums.
