I'm not sure how to relay accomplishments without sounding pompous. So, for my bio I've chosen to use part of an article that was written about me and published by a third party source:
Steve Sanderson is a self-taught musician with a natural talent to create melodies and formulate words surrounding those melodies. He has over 500 poems and songs written. He has been writing poetry since he was 13 and has about 23 poems that have been published nationwide. One of his poems (Awaiting) took him third place in an all age category national poetry contest and has recently been published one the first page of a hard bound book titled "A Surrender to the Moon". He has 54 songs that are registered with the Library of Congress and currently is working on his fifth CD.
Steve has played and entertained people in 39 States as well as Puerto Rico, South America, England, Australia and Singapore. At 23 years old he was noted for his abilities and met with President Jimmy Carter. He has also held audiences with J.B.Hunt and the governor of Djakarta.
He has chosen Chicago as his home and has played in many of the fine establishments around the Windy City.
While recording, I became friends with Lead Producer Eddie Matthews. Now Eddie has ended up performing the lead guitar work on all my songs. So, if you listen to any of my songs the golden guitar strings that accompany my heart’s work, belong to Eddie Matthews.
