Grif came to the US as a sound engineer in 1977 and toured with arena rock bands, including Blue Oyster Cult, The Who, Deep Purple and the Scorpions. Inspired by Gary Moore, Richie Blackmore, Peter Green and Andy Powell, Grif performs a combination of guitar centric songs, both vocal and instrumental. Whether playing and singing over backing tracks, using a looper, or just playing a acoustic song, every note and word you hear comes from Grif.
He loves to involve his audience in his shows - he welcomes audience members on stage to join the perfomance , and creates songs to include tambourine and shakers so the audience can grab tambourines and be part of the show. It's about music and fun.
This album takes the energy from Grif's live performances and recreates the music in a studio environment
