Steve Klenke is a trumpet player, composer, and producer in Albuquerque, New Mexico. USA.
Steve composed his first pieces of music in high school for his 7-piece cover band and went on to write jingles for the American Heart Association, Toyota (Chicago area), and music for TV/Film. He has performed on trumpet with many different styles of bands: Big Bands, Jazz Ensembles, R&B, Salsa/Cumbia, Wedding (cover) bands, Classical Brass Quintets, Musicals (pit orchestra) and has been a featured trumpet soloist with local City Bands, Orchestras, and Jazz Bands.
Steve moved to the Southwest in 2006. He was trumpet tutor (and played the trumpet part) for a movie starring actors Dylan McDermott, Anna Sophia Robb, Heather Graham, and Val Kilmer called "Have Dreams Will Travel," directed by Brad Issacs and filmed in New Mexico (2007).
He also recorded the "Tangerine" jazz CD, featured here at CDBaby, which is receiving radio play on several jazz stations in the USA. In Albuquerque, NM Steve joined Brother Bean Films on three music video productions which are available on youTube.
