Steven Alan Wiggins

A native of Panama City, Florida, Steve has been a music lover all of his life. His passion began when he was a young boy watching his father play boogie-woogie on an old upright piano. His mother, as well as his grandmother, inspired his playing. Steve's own musical career began by teaching himself to play the piano starting at the age of six and joining the school band at the age of thirteen and playing the trumpet. At the age of sixteen, Steve joined the touring band "Foolstar" and he began living out his musical ambition playing Organ, Piano and Synths. He traveled the entire Southeast for over fourteen years. Among his keyboards were a Hammond B3 and Yamama CP70 Electric Grand Piano. After the band dissolved in 1989, Steve moved back to Panama City and began composing his own music and playing with several local bands and performing in many successful solo engagements. His music has taken him to such places as Las Vegas, Salt Lake City, LA and Hawaii. Steve has performed on stage with Greg Allman, Zac Harmon, Fiona Boyes, Steve Arvey, Harper, Tab Benoit and Anthony Gomes among others over the the years. Steve's newest instruments are the American Indian flute and timbales. Steve released his first solo CD, "Serenity by the Sea," in Novemeber 2003, followed by "Spirit of the Momsen" in August 2004, and his newest release "Mesa Verde Moments" in Dec. of 2007. Steve is planning and writing his debut blues cd. Steve's Collection of work is an array of styles including:.. blues, new age contemporary, jazz, instrumental, and easy listening music.
