In the year 2000, in a small Tennessee town called Nashville, a young Stevie Monce started his musical journey playing bass in the high energy alt-Brit band Linger. Even as he achieved regional success, Stevie longed to return to more artistic roots. By 2006, Stevie was stepping out in a new direction in a new town— the vibrant city of Atlanta serves as both backdrop and inspiration for soulful songs he penned to reveal a more intimate glimpse of the real Stevie Monce. Songs like "Can't Stop Us Now", "Just Be With Me", and "One For The Lovers" offer an eerily beautiful portrayal of what life and music are to him.
Stevie quickly sprinted to the top of the thriving Atlanta music scene and began playing his tunes across the southeast. As described by Francisco Vidal, founder and CEO of Grassroots Productions, "Stevie has an energy that instantly fills up the room with an authentic passion for music. Stevie never fails to make sure every single person in the venue is having a great time and is truly part of the unique Stevie Monce experience." This strong and undeniable passion has attracted the attention of some of the industry's most talented artists, allowing him to share the stage with Angie Aparo, Ed Roland, Ryan Newell, Michael Tolcher, and Gavin DeGraw.
Stevie Monce's debut album, "The Broadcast", was released in December 2009 and is quickly becoming a staple in the Atlanta music scene. The driving force behind this success is Stevie's 100% dedication to his live performance of the material. This is an experience that has Stevie performing and selling out shows at some of the southeast's most influential venues, such as 333 On Broad, Eddie's Attic, The Earl, Sky Bar, Smith's Olde Bar, Rafters, and Vinyl.
"It's been such a long time and a rare occasion to actually hear an artist on the road with such passion that literally got me out of my seat and up to the stage asking Stevie if I could sing backup for him... and I did. This guy has something and it is only a matter of time before everyone else sees it."
— Gavin DeGraw, RCA Label Group Recording Artist
"Stevie has it... whatever it is he has it. I have never seen an artist with such drive, poise, and determination... just wait and get ready for this guy to break out."
— Jay Shell, Owner of 333 On Broad
