Stone 588

Formed in 1992 in Fullerton, California by vocalist Terri Kennedy and guitarist Dave Rhine, Stone 588's brooding, intense, tribal sound has its roots in the early '80's post-punk era of Killing Joke and Siouxsie and the Banshees, traversing a dimly lit path of rhythmic darkness. The band has made several cable television and radio appearances, and shared the stage with Eva O, The Last Dance, Dave Vanian, Human Drama, Babyland, This Ascension, Shadow Project and others, also appearing on over 30 cd compilations worldwide. Stone 588 has three cd releases, 1995's "Door in the Dragon's Throat," "Midnight Claret" (released in 2000) and "Eden's Eyes," a compilation of the band's early cassette releases. Vocalist Terri Kennedy also is known for her appearance on Faith and the Muse's first U.S. tour (Procession 1995) and as a guest vocalist on recordings by Dichroic Mirror, Hexedene, Schattenschlag , Lidless Eye Flicker, Wire Junky and others.
