From out of the mind and madness of E.Borders comes a musical trip called Stone Agency Music.
Born on the westside of Los Angeles, E.Borders began playing drums at almost the same time as learning to walk. Thanks to a mother who sang in the church choir, and a father who would later join Marvin Gaye's band, young E.Borders picked up his family's love for music and soon found a best friend in rhythm.
E. would go on to play in several groups, funk and rock with friends, jazz and stage bands at school, and even played with the Los Angeles All-City Orchestra while still a teenager. Soon thereafter he began to seriously pursue a career in music, and began working in a recording studio where he would sharpen his arranging and technical skills. Originally hired on as a guitarist and co-writer, E.Borders soon found his way behind the board to become the studio's recording engineer, which led to producing many acts at the label and for the studio.
Fast forward a couple of years and E. Borders would work with hip-hop legend Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg and Death Row Records. Go forward a few more, and E. establishes himself as a premier writer and producer on R&B solo projects like Aaron Hall (of Guy), and Jodeci lead singer K-Ci Hailey. Journey a bit further and E. Borders (and production team Tha Bookeez) are scoring and composing for film. Achievements would include songs and production on the movie soundtracks "Deep Cover", the academy award winning "Crash" starring Matt Dillon, Sandra Bullock, Terence Howard and Ludacris (where he and the group KansasCali provided a title track and video which can be found in the dvd's special features section) and "Mr. & Mrs. Smith" with Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie. With all that done, E. would take some time away from the majors and work with inner-city talent, and cultivate some personal projects. One of those projects being Stone Agency Music.
You can expect from Stone Agency Music some of the dopest, most original music ever to bang from your ipod.
Buckle up... and enjoy the ride!
