Sudden Flow www.suddenflow.de
Many various musical projects inspired from soul/funk, jazz, bluegrass and folk, have brought the American singer and German guitarist together to embark on a new path, which due to their intuitive musical understanding takes hold and allows the music to flow as a duo.
The song writing they do together enables them to work on a level
that inspires and leaves much room for expression.
Sue Sheehan and Günter Kramer compliment each other in an excellent
manner that enhances the sound they produce. They uncover a wonderful blend of cultural interpretation and storytelling through their music. One forgets that this reduced size of a group through the complexity of sound heard, is only 2 people.
The instruments involved in this successful undertaking are 6 and 12 string acoustic guitars, trumpet, irish bouzouki, and bodhrán. Their arrangements have an intense high level of instrumental skills. Thus keeping in mind that their songs
maintain a well balanced, thought out structure.
Most importantly, is that there is a deep intuition between the duo partners, which is heard and seen through the singing and the song writing. Through the many 2 part vocal harmonies that evolve in their program, the pervasive groove that consists, the Sudden flow of the music leaves an unforgettable trace…acoustic polybeat.
