Suzanne McNeil

Biography

All three women are based in separate cities have their own solo careers and met in Nashville at a songwriting workshop sponsored by the Nashville Songwriter’s Association International. All three have individual solo CD projects available, as well as a special EP they have recorded in Nashville especially for this tour, including a theme song the trio wrote together called “Lipstick and a Laugh.”

They have come together as a cooperative to perform a Nashville "in the round" style show and to bring that intimate, acoustic, listening experience to other parts of the country. Their musical influences run the gamut from folk to pop to jazz to country to rock. Together, their sound is a sonic confluence of those American styles and textures with the additional "fairy dust" that comes from three artists who love what they're doing. Expect to be hit with original songs stacked with harmonies and packed with stories.

Diona Devincenzi is based in Nashville and has a vocal style that is rich in jazz and blues overtones. Think Sarah Vaughn meets Patty Griffin with a slight hint of twang. She maintains a busy writing and performing schedule in the Nashville area and throws in the occasional golf game.

Suzanne McNeil resides in Boston and her music has been likened to the pop and rock roots of Sheryl Crow while her vocal tones are reminicent of a young Peggy Lee and Dusty Springfield. She maintains a busy performance schedule across New England and recently finished her 2nd album entitled "Willow". The Lipstick and Laugh theme song is not based on her life.

Jill Miller hails from Sioux City and favors the country and Christian music stylings of Shania Twain and Amy Grant. She maintains a busy Christian ministry in the Iowa area and beyond. She has been crowned by the many as the honorary "good will" ambassador of Sioux City.
