These "Orderves" got some of their first airplay on J. J.'s Class Reunion show long ago with a Valentine song, a Tomahawk chop song, and "Air Bag" (you can hear "Air Bag" on the "Notches On Her Bedpost" CD Baby site and other affiliated sites; please do if you haven't already).
And what about the song originally known as "Let Me Borry Your Wife"--some were amazed that the mispelling occurred; and if they mispelled "borrow", what chance did they have when the spelling of "horr' d'oeeroervvezss" came up, as it did, to the chagrin of the Chinese gentleman who was preparing the sign for happy hour in the lounge--"Just spell it 'o-r-d-e-r-v-e-s'"--was the quick suggestion by the patron on his way to the buffet.
A week or two later they were back, and while getting out of the car, saw the gentleman hurrying toward them excitedly, waving his arms, and saying over and over "horr' d'oeeroervvezss" "horr' d'oeeroervvezss" "horr' d'oeeroervvezss" (he did not mispell it when he said it, of course); the patron replied "No, we don't want any "horr' d'oeeroervvezss", we're having the buffet". But on entering the restaurant, they saw the carefully made sign indicating the happy hour in the lounge, drink specials, etc., and, as you suspected, 'free orderves'. Hmmmmm.
So, 'borry' some 'Orderves' now, or better yet download some right around henuah (here) on the site! Thank you very much . . .
