THE RUBYS

We are;

• A six-piece Indie Rock band from Manchester, formed in early 2010.
• “Limelight Parasite” is the bands’ debut album – released on May 19 2012.
• The Rubys’ second CD, "The Fear", was officially endorsed by Refuge - 100% of all profits went to the Charity.
• The Rubys’ first CD, “Sun”, has helped attract over 100,000 plays on internet radio station, Jango.com
• The Rubys have been played by BBC Introducing, Tom Robertson (BBC 6music), Philadelphias SRRocks.com, North Manchester FM, Manchester Radio Online, Rowetta, and more.
• The Rubys have a habit of selling out key venues, including The Manchester Academy, FAC251: The Factory, Fomfest, The Deaf Institute, Collaboration Festival, and more.
• The Rubys have also supported Steve Pilgrim (of Paul Wellers’ Band), Rowetta (of The Happy Mondays), The Rainband, The Buzzcocks, and Supajamma.
• Upcoming dates for The Rubys include playing Greenzone Festival with Reverend and The Makers on June 30 in Loughborough, and a special invitation-only gig at the barracks of The 2nd Royal Tank Regiment to mark their final tour of Afghanistan.
