Tammy Rodgers

Singer, songwriter and author Tammy Rodgers’ musical style is country edge served up with a side of blues. From love songs to “feel good” songs, this Oklahoma native has a way of saying a lot with few words. By combining her love for God and Country and her music, Tammy makes many personal appearances at music festivals, women’s conventions and retreats, cancer benefits, political rallies, and cowboy churches. She has appeared on cable network’s TBN (Trinity Broadcasting Network), the world’s largest religious network, and Tammy has also appeared on Jimmy Snow’s Gospel TV Show.

She’s been a guest on KNGR Radio, “Dealing With the Death of a Loved One.” Her love for sharing music, combined with compassion for the elderly, also keeps Tammy singing at local nursing homes and assisted-living facilities.

Tammy’s first solo album, recorded in Nashville with producer Ernie Rowell, will be released this Fall. All the songs on this new album were penned by Tammy, along with her co-writer of five songs on this project, Mike Hembree.

She is not new to recording, having sung in the duo “Two Hearts-N-Him” with Deanna Duggar. Their first single “Do You Think?” charted at number six on “God’s Country.” This song was written by Tammy when her mother died. The next single, “Hold Up Your Candle,” peaked at number one in 2006.

My Cinderella Grandma, a children’s book written by Tammy’s daughter, Holly, and co-authored with Tammy and her son, Gavin, is a story about Tammy’s mother dying of melanoma cancer and dealing with grief over losing a loved one. The “Do You Think?” single recording is included in the book package. This family is sharing their faith in Jesus Christ, giving hope to those who have lost someone they love. You will truly be touched by this inspirational story, as God speaks through the innocence of a child.

Tammy performs in all venues, such as the Rodeo Opry in Oklahoma City, State Fair of Oklahoma, numerous fairs/festivals, and on KSBI-TV in Oklahoma City.

Wtth all of her vocal and writing skills, Tammy definitely has a lot to say. Her audiences agree.
