Teresa

Biography

Teresa started out as a drummer at the age 5. It was an unusual since there weren't that many female drummers around her hometown of Staten Island, NY. After continuing to perform with her school bands and becoming an accomplished chart reading drummer, Teresa moved on to performing in numerous bands playing everything from The Big Band Sound to Rock & Roll. Realizing that she had a good ear for harmony, she would also be the drummer/back-up vocalist in the band and eventually started to sing lead vocals. She realized that she had as much passion for singing as she did for drumming and started to record songs performing both the vocal and drum tracks. Teresa is also a songwriter and in 2009 composed the special parent dedication song "Thank You" which is very close to her heart. Her two daughters were also part of the recording. She loves the creative process of writing & performing in the recording studio. Music takes her to another place. It's a blessing in her life.
