The exciting Finnish group The Body thrives on blazing innovation, hard hitting attitude and pure love of rock music.
The Body first saw the light of day in 1996. Their debut album “Add only water” (Poko Rekords) was released in 1998 and considered being ahead (or out) of its time.
On the first record the lineup consisted of four members: Junttu (voc, gtr), Hannu (gtr), Mikko Kostiainen (bass) and Juppo Paavola (drs).
In 2004 when they started recording their second album they made some changes in the lineup. Ari Toikka entered as a drummer and Kostiainen and Paavola retired.
In March 2013 after years of preparation and difficulties they finally released their second album "II" through Anyone? label.
Present lineup is: Junttu (voc, bass), Hannu (gtr) and Tomi Hyttinen (drs).
